The annual Jazz & Brews beer tasting and silent auction fundraiser will be held September 27, 2008 at Vern Eide Motorcars at 23rd and Minnesota. All proceeds from Jazz & Brews will benefit the Sioux Falls Jazz & Blues Society’s Educational Fund.
The Sioux Falls Jazz & Blues Society strives to bring jazz and blues education experiences to youth and adults in Sioux Falls and the state of South Dakota through concerts, lectures, workshops, scholarships and the touring Jazz Diversity Project.
Jazz & Brews will run from 7pm-11pm and feature over 100 beers, appetizers from Chef Jeni, and live music from Dakota Jazz Collective. Representatives from national breweries will be available to explain the brewing processes and answer questions from attendees. A wine and coffee bar will also be available along with other non-alcoholic beverages.
Tickets to the fundraiser are $40 for 2008-2009 SFJB Concert Series Subscribers and $45 for non-subscribers. Tickets are available through the Sioux Falls Jazz & Blues Society office at 605-335-6101 or online at www.sfjb.org.
